Nearly every year there is a new type of phone, computer, iPad, tablet and more. More and more people are getting addicted. So addicted some people aren’t taking notice of what is happening around them. Some people care about their devices more than anything. Schools need to start making days where there are no devices. Devices can be fun to have and use, but there are always things that aren’t so fun. Cyber bullying, losing friends and even death. Death? A man had got hit by a car because he was walking so focused on his phone, he didn’t see the car coming...

Anxiety Project (Week 3)

This week on Wednesday 7th of August we went down to HUHA with a group of students, we only got to play with two puppies, but I think everyone enjoyed it. The two puppies names were Luna and Mickey. We did take photos but we could not post them because HUHA wanted privacy and not to post any pictures on social media. It was a great experience and hopefully we could do it again. But maybe more dogs. In the project we found out dogs calm people and make them really happy. I actually think the puppies decreased Anxiety a little too! Thank you to HUHA for helping us do this project and decreasing Anxiety.

Since we are not allowed to post photos of the dogs ill post a photo of a dog (my dog) that looks very similar to Mickey and Luna.

Week 2, Anxiety Project (HUHA)

This week we got an email back from HUHA, they have said it would be a great idea about having a visit. So in week 3 we will be taking a group of students with Anxiety to go to HUHA.
HUHA have said that they would be getting their calmest dogs and puppies out for us to pet them. I am very happy and excited about how it is all planned. I am also very thankful for HUHA letting us do this.
