So addicted some people aren’t taking notice of what is happening around them. Some people care about their devices more than anything. Schools need to start making days where there are no devices. Devices can be fun to have and use, but there are always things that aren’t so fun. Cyber bullying, losing friends and even death. Death? Anxiety Project (Week 3)

This week on Wednesday 7th of August we went down to HUHA with a group of students, we only got to play with two puppies, but I think everyone enjoyed it. The two puppies names were Luna and Mickey. We did take photos but we could not post them because HUHA wanted privacy and not to post any pictures on social media. It was a great experience and hopefully we could do it again. But maybe more dogs. In the project we found out dogs calm people and make them really happy. I actually think the puppies decreased Anxiety a little too! Thank you to HUHA for helping us do this project and decreasing Anxiety.

Since we are not allowed to post photos of the dogs ill post a photo of a dog (my dog) that looks very similar to Mickey and Luna.

Week 2, Anxiety Project (HUHA)

This week we got an email back from HUHA, they have said it would be a great idea about having a visit. So in week 3 we will be taking a group of students with Anxiety to go to HUHA.
HUHA have said that they would be getting their calmest dogs and puppies out for us to pet them. I am very happy and excited about how it is all planned. I am also very thankful for HUHA letting us do this.

Tupaia

Tupaia was a artist, tattooist and a Polynesian star navigator. He was born in the year 1725 his birth month is unknown. he spoke many pasifika languages, he also travelled with Captain Cook. Tupaia has not been acknowledged for his part in cooks journey to New Zealand.

Tupaia past away on November 11th 1770 from a life threatening disease called Malaria.

Anxiety Project (Animals)

In int we are doing a project on anxiety. Karen, Hannah, Charlotte, Jess, Alana and I are in a group and figuring out how to reduce anxiety. So far we have found out that animals help anxiety. We are trying to find and contact a place around our area with animals such as the SPCA or HUHA. Then if we find a place we will gather a group of students with anxiety and take them to where ever.

We have chosen to ask HUHA if we could do this project there, we have emailed them and are waiting on a response. We are hoping they agree to this because we all are very excited.
We think they should reply by Monday next week.
