Tupaia was a artist, tattooist and a Polynesian star navigator. He was born in the year 1725 his birth month is unknown. he spoke many pasifika languages, he also travelled with Captain Cook. Tupaia has not been acknowledged for his part in cooks journey to New Zealand.
Tupaia past away on November 11th 1770 from a life threatening disease called Malaria.
